Veterinary VITALS is owned and operated by a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, operating within the scope of the Veterinary Practice Act. Credentialed technicians have extensive and diverse training and are able to provide guidance, support, and care spanning a wide range of species and unending animal health concerns. Per the Veterinary Practice Act, technicians are not allowed to make a diagnosis, give a prognosis, prescribe medicine, or perform surgery. To uphold the integrity of veterinary technician licensure, pet parents wishing to pursue virtual triage or quality-of-life consultation through Veterinary VITALS must have an active VCPR with a licensed veterinarian and medical record sharing will be requested prior to the triage or consult appointment taking place. All triage and consult documentation will be provided to the pet parent for transfer to their primary care provider to maintain continuity of care.
